Well, the Digital Archive Project stays in the "gray" area by only allowing downloads of non-commercially available items. That's the best way to stay "legal" (DAP has gotten buy in during interviews from the creatives involved and hasn't gotten any C&D letters for MST) and get MST, in my opinion.
